PLANNED OUTAGE

Dear Customer(s),
There will be a planned outage as scheduled by the Transmission Company of Nigeria to carry out maintenance on shiroro 1 & 2 lines on the 27th of February, 2021 between 10 am and 5 pm.
This will subject our feeders to serious load shedding within the period of the exercise.
The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution Plc based on the above call on her esteemed customers within the affected areas to bear with the company by making alternative arrangements for their energy within the period of the maintenance. Supply will be restored as soon as the maintenance is completed.

JOS DISCO TO SPEND N12.4B ON NETWORK, METERS

The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution Plc is to invest about seven billion, two hundred million naira (N7.2 B) in its quest to expand its network. This was disclosed by the Executive Director, Finance and Account, Alhaji Mamamlafia Umar last Wednesday during the opening of bids for the company’s capital projects for 2021 at Lamonde Hotel, Jos, Plateau State. Alhaji Umar further disclosed that the above amount was different from the additional five billion, two hundred million million naira ( N5.2 B) already injected into the metering programme by the company. He explained that at the end of the investment, customers would have the cause to be happy as there would be stable and steady power supply.

JOS DISCO LAUNCHES NEW USSD SHORT CODE

Jos Electricity Distribution Plc has launched a USSD short code aimed at easing the process of customer’s verification of their most recent payments. The code will help customers to know their status in terms of their payment without necessary recoursing to the office for verification. A press release issued by the Head Corporate Communications, Dr. Friday Adakole Elijah, stated that “the disco’s outmost priority is to serve its customers better with ease especially in this period of global pandemic.” He urged customers to efficiently utilize the code as the company is striving to serving her customers better via the instrumentality of technology with the aim of attaining customer satisfaction.
